ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
Environmental challenges, such as climate change and raw material shortages, concern all of us. We take these threats seriously and take them into account in our product development and operating models. Our decision-making processes are guided by material efficiency, sustainable development and environmental awareness.
We want to operate in a way that allows us to contribute to offering safe and healthy living conditions, also for future generations.
The carbon footprint and environmental impact of all the components used in Module pods are taken into account right from the outset, starting in the design stage.
Our aim is to design and manufacture our products from materials and components that are as safe, durable, renewable and recyclable as possible. We recycle all recoverable waste and constantly strive to reduce our waste volumes.
We focus on ecofriendliness and energy efficiency in our product development. As a significant share of the carbon footprint of Module pods comes from the production of manufacturing materials, we are committed to working with material suppliers and partners who share our values. Together we develop solutions that have a positive impact on the environment throughout the production chain.
We use a green transport process that aims to minimise the carbon footprint. Unnecessary transports are avoided with the help of an advanced make-to-stock production system.
Module’s long-term environmental goals:
- To reduce the carbon footprint of Module pods
- To support sustainable development and improve environmental efficiency
Module pods are made with 30 years of experience and thousands of realised work environments.
